Veterans Recognition Project

 

The Historical Committee of Englewood Cliffs is gathering information for its Veterans Recognition Project.  They are seeking the names of men and women  who were drafted or enlisted when they lived in Englewood Cliffs.  These names will join the names on the Honor Roll from WW1 and WW2 on a sign to be displayed at Veterans and Fallen Heroes Park, located on the corner of Irving Ave and West Bayview Avenue.

 

Conflicts for which information is needed are as follows:

1.     Korean Conflict ( 1950-1953)

2.     Vietnam War (1953-1975)

3.     Cold War (1947-1991)

4.     Persian Gulf War (1990-1991)

5.     War on Terror (2001-present)

Englewood Cliffs Veteran Recognition Honor Roll. Veterans and/or family members please visit this site and share your photos, memorabilia and stories with our community.

 

We are truly proud of the residents who served our nation.  This under-taking is designed to give recognition to the men and women who served from Englewood Cliffs as well as the men and women who served and then moved to EC.  The ECHC thanks our veterans for their service and now wishes to bestow upon them the recognition they truly deserve.
